JOB & CAREER SUMMARY:
- This position executes sales strategies, builds productive relationships, and closes sales.
- The primary job purpose is to maximize revenue by signing new accounts and managing existing accounts.
- Our goal is to drive revenue by building value using professional sales techniques and to educate clients and their staff on our products and services.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect for and qualify prospective new distributors or retail clients for our non-regulated product line.
- Become an expert in our products, market, and prospects.
- Present our products to prospective customers in an accurate and compelling manner by phone, email, text, and personal meetings.
- Answer objections, close and submit complete and accurate orders.
- Record all activities in our Customer Relationship Management system as trained and directed.
- Reach the target number of accounts as directed.
- Call on and visit prospective customers and sign them up as new accounts.
- Build value in and increase monthly orders from existing accounts.
- Set goals, manage and report on territory sales metrics and data requested by management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES and PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Achieve assigned objectives for sales, average order size, order frequency, and customer satisfaction.
- Perform on all key performance indicators, including:
- New accounts activated.
- Existing account order activity.
- Monthly sales totals and goals:
- Average $ per order.
- Average $ per month per account.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience preferred, including the use of a CRM.
- Proven dedication to performance-based environments.
- Industry experience is a plus.
- MED Support Badge preferred.
- Computer proficiently, specifically but not limited to:
- Salesforce (preferred).
- Microsoft Office Suite (required).
- Expert time-management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to an often-changing and rapid-paced work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Must have reliable transportation and a current driver’s license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time.
- Must be able to travel via car and/or airplane.

- Must be able to work in an office environment with moderate to the occasional loud noise level.
