JOB & CAREER SUMMARY:

  • This position is expected to help us meet our customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability targets by keeping Clear Cannabis Inc. competitive and innovative.
  • The Director of Sales is responsible for maximizing revenue, profitability, and sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to upper management.
  • Our goal is to build value in the marketplace while educating retailers and their staff on existing and upcoming products and services that supplement their businesses.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base, maximizes revenue, and grows our brands into market leaders.
  • Establish and set monthly, quarterly, and annual team and individual goals.
  • Lead sales team to meet and exceed planned sales goals and quotas.
  • Manage sales team including setting objectives, coaching, and performance monitoring of account managers.
  • Develop our sales team through motivation, counseling, and product education.
  • Manage and report on sales team metrics and data requested by management thru the company CRM.
  • Oversee customer account onboarding and activation, including customer training.
  • Prepare sales department budget, update as requested, and manage expenses and revenue to the budget.
  • Become an expert in our products, market, and prospects.
  • Collaborate with operations and other departments as needed to meet and exceed goals.

ACCOUNTABILITIES and PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

  • Achieve assigned objectives for sales, average order size, order frequency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform on all key performance indicators, including:
    • Existing account order activity.
    • New accounts activated.
    • Support account activation strategies.
  • Monthly sales totals and goals, including but not limited to:
    • Average $ per account, by order.
    • Order frequencies.
    • Closing %.
    • Market penetration.
    • Collections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven successful sales experience.
  • 5 years of experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Proven dedication to performance-based environments.
  • Industry experience is a plus.
  • MED Support Badge preferred.
  • Computer proficiently, specifically but not limited to:
    • Salesforce (preferred).
    • Microsoft Office Suite (required).
  • Expert time-management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to an often-changing and rapid-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations.
  • This position may require some travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time.
