JOB & CAREER TITLE:

• General Manager for Cannabis Company in Oklahoma City Oklahoma

Job Overview:

• The General Manager oversees day-to-day operations of our cultivation, dispensaries, MIP lab, managing core department managers and managing all strategies and tasks related to facilities, accounting, sales and marketing, and public relations.
• This position has financial responsibility for the P&L and is responsible for successful strategy execution.
• This position reports to and is accountable for managing partnerships.
• The General Manager provides leadership to all departments throughout the facility.
• They will keep tight control of the senior management-approved budget and oversees operations according to established laws, policies, and procedures.
• This staff member is ultimately responsible for overall building appearance, cleanliness, comfort, functionality, safety, security, and overall customer experience.
• Finally, this position is ultimately responsible for employees’ strict adherence to laws and regulations concerning medical marijuana.

Education/Experience:

• General Manager must have management experience and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in the medical cannabis industry is highly desirable, but not required.
• Must be 21 years old and pass a criminal background check.

Essential Functions:

• Facilitate communication between Managing Partners and business entities.
• Communicate and embody the company mission and values.
• Establish and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations.
• Schedule store employees according to business needs.
• Aids owners in formulating business strategy.
• Approves all store pricing and specials.
• Orders product and maintains appropriate par levels.
• Responsible for new product suggestions, sourcing, and sample distribution.
• Coach and develop other team members.

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a retail business environment.

Physical Demands:

• This is an active position requiring regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day.
• The position requires talking and hearing as well as visual acuity.
• Employees must frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Good motor coordination is required for the weighing and packaging of products.

Expected Hours of Work:

• Days and hours of work may vary by scheduling or seasonal needs.
• Evening and weekend work is required.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be occupationally licensed in the State of Oklahoma to work in the MMJ industry.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Estimated Salary: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
