Job Overview:

  • The Store Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the dispensary and is responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and developing a dedicated team to drive the success of the business.
  • This position requires someone who can guide teams and develop their talent.
  • The right candidate has experience leading stores, ensuring customer satisfaction, and measuring financial performance.
  • Store Managers will ensure employees maintain strict adherence to laws and regulations related to the sale of regulated medical marijuana.
  • This position reports to the General Manager.

Experience/Education:

  • Experience in management of a retail store is required.
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a related field and experience working in the cannabis industry are strongly preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure excellent customer service, including resolving customer difficulties.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
  • Coach and develop staff.
  • Control waste, expenses, and payroll.
  • Observe appropriate merchandise stock levels, presentation, and signage.
  • Responsible for store compliance with all applicable local and state regulations.
  • Responsible for accurate pricing of all products and specials.
  • Receives product and maintains appropriate records.
  • Able to learn new computer systems and explain them to others.
  • Open and close store.
  • Prepare daily deposit and take to bank if needed.
  • Responsible for daily safe counts, drawer counts, and drop counts.
  • Other related duties as assigned by General Manager.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a retail business environment.
  • The role routinely uses standard retail equipment such as registers, phones, computers, printers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands:

  • This is an active position requiring regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day.
  • The position requires talking and hearing as well as visual acuity.
  • Employees must frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Good motor coordination is required for the weighing and packaging of products.

Expected Hours of Work:

  • Days and hours of work may vary by scheduling or seasonal needs.
  • Evening and weekend work is required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Must be occupationally licensed in the State of Oklahoma to work in the MMJ industry.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Estimated Salary: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
