JOB POSITION TITLE:

• Security Officer for Marijuana Company in Cambridge Massachusetts.

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting and securing a cannabis company.

Security Officer maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring working premises.

Security Officer secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, valuable equipment, access points, and permitting entry.

Security Officer prevents losses and damage by informing violators of policy and procedure and also restraining trespassers.

Security Officer completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

Security Officer monitors and observes security cameras to detect suspicious and unlawful behavior.

Security Officer performs perimeter checks around all properties to ensure the security of the premises for all employees and customers.

Security Officer detects, assesses, and project security risks while creating solutions to best protect employees and customers.

Security Officer ensures adherence to all security protocol as established by corporate security director.

Security Officer complies with all Federal, State, and Local laws and legal requirements.

Looking to hire someone that is able to accomplish new tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

• Previous security and protection experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous armed security, event security, executive protection, private security, security guard, security patrol, or unarmed security experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous work experience in a Military or Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) setting is preferred but not required.
• Security Badge, Security Guard Card, or Private Security Certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous work experience in the medical marijuana or recreational cannabis industry is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and REQUIREMENTS:

• You can talk and hear regularly.
• You can sit, stand, or walk for the entire shift.
• You can periodically bend, stoop, squat, and reach.
• You can physically lift at least 60 lbs.

REPORTS TO:

• Manager of Security and Protection.
• Director of Security and Protection.

SHIFT SCHEDULE:

• Employment Types: Contract, Full-time, Part-time.
• Work Shifts: 6-hour, 8-hour, 12-hour.
• Availability: mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
