JOB TITLE:
- ACH Operations Analyst
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a subject matter expert on consumer and merchant ACH and reconciliation questions, including escalation and triage of issues.
- Serve as backup support for the company’s ACH operations department, which may include some reconciliation, and work closely with our bank partner(s).
- Assist as needed with daily and monthly reconciliation.
- Track losses and ensure payment is received in full.
- Monitor transactions for unusual or suspicious activity and provide input on business rules.
- Assist with resolving ACH returns and NOCs as needed.
- Additional Payments team assistance as needed with cross-functional teams such as Fraud, Risk, and Support.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of back office recon and/or customer-facing support for payments (ACH experience required; additional payments experience such as cards or wires a plus).
- Ability to coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong sense of teamwork while working independently.
- Intermediate computer skills (Zendesk, Salesforce, Google Suite).
- Operate independently with little supervision on a day-to-day basis.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear via electronic devices (ie. computer, monitor, microphone, video, etc.)
- The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include reading and viewing information on a computer monitor.
