DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in supporting sales and lead generation efforts through social, paid advertising, and weekly email campaigns.
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance and establish benchmarks in order to make recommendations for marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute photoshoots for ongoing content libraries to be utilized in email, text, advertising, and social media campaigns.
  • Support the maintenance of the merchandising plan’s visual displays and product placement to ensure brand and promotional visibility.
  • Coordinate collateral requests, such as advertisements, new promotions material, and ISA requests, with the Sales team for creative agency to design.
  • Coordinate with social media and creative agencies to identify content needs and plan to set up campaigns and launches for ultimate and timely success.
  • Assist in understanding market trends and insights by utilizing available resources and establishing competitive analysis.
  • Ensure all advertising efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
  • Assist in the development and execution of all marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Engage with and build rapport with our customers to generate a buzz about our products and services.
  • Creating website and social media content in order to drive brand awareness and attract new customers.
  • Be a passionate and knowledgeable brand advocate for cannabis products, primarily in the retail dispensary channel.
  • Direct and implement advertising and promotional activities with promotional calendar including content, activations, GTM, and engagement performance.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience assessing and achieving client goals through sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
  • Demonstrated ability for strategic and critical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, written & presentation skills).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to consistently deliver quality results on time, and on budget with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- able to learn other platforms and tools quickly.
  • Must have own car, insurance, as well as a good driving record.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands.
  • Frequently stooping, bending, and reaching; occasionally sitting at floor level.
  • Lift a light amount of weight when necessary to complete job tasks.
  • Stand, sit, and walk for periods of time to complete job tasks.
