DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the strategic marketing efforts, including the development and implementation of a cohesive marketing strategy across the enterprise.
- Develop operating procedures KPIs, and the correct culture for accountability, growth, and entrepreneurialism.
- Provide a critical interface between the field sales organization and product development/engineering.
- Work closely with Human Resources to implement and refine company policies and procedures.
- Guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of management and executive team members.
- Monitoring the competitive landscape and attending industry events to stay abreast of new initiatives and ways to stay ahead.
- Accountable for the operational budgets and measurement and effectiveness of all operational processes – internal and external.
- Provides timely, accurate, and complete reports on the operating condition of the Company.
- Oversees supply chain and demand planning. Reviews inventory for both manufactured and 3rd party products and sets expectations for planning and utilization.
- Provides strategic input to evaluate potential alliances, acquisitions and mergers, and new lines of service.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Cannabis management experience (min. 3 years).
- Experience managing an entire company/department/business unit.
- Must have the ability to initiate proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Must possess strong business management, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, manage projects, and work within deadlines.
- Team player with strong attention to detail.
- Must pass federal/state background and social media background checks.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment, including computers and phones.
- Some crouching, stooping, balancing, or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in-store and office with fluorescent and other lighting exposure.
