DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage all revenue, staffing, and expense forecasts and budgets.
- Develop and execute the strategic revenue growth and business development plan for the entire business.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to define our target customer profiles and prioritize and focus our efforts.
- Elevate and prioritize customer needs and satisfaction.
- Establish compensation, training, and sales incentive programs that enable sales staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
- Partner with IT to define needs and maintain business ownership of the revenue technology stack including automation/ CRM, digital channels (e.g. web and social), business intelligence, and data management.
- Drive operational excellence at every stage of the sales funnel and buyer’s journey as well as develop innovative strategies to increase retention and sales with existing partners and consumers.
- Modeling and setting the company’s culture, values, and behavior.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA, finance education preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior-level sales and business development management in a CPG or Cannabis company.
- Cannabis industry experience is required.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of business plans and strategies.
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal negotiation skills.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and public speaking experience.
- Software literacy: CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint; Google Suite, including Google Sheets.
- Passionate and skilled at recruiting, training, developing, and coaching team members in sales, marketing, branding, and business development.
