JOB TITLE:
- Co-Manager of Delivery
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the company’s delivery navigation system to assign and optimize delivery routes to drivers.
- Select a collection of delivery orders (tasks) utilizing the delivery navigation system dashboard to assign to drivers.
- Ensure all local, county, and state guidelines and cannabis delivery regulations are being followed.
- Create a route as soon as delivery orders are ready and assign them to drivers to ensure timeliness in dispatch and delivery.
- Notify drivers when an order is assigned.
- Communicate delivery issues to customers/patients within the delivery navigation system.
- Ensure the delivery address is correct, a physical address, and is within local, county, and state regulations for delivery.
- Work with the Operations team to increase efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of orders to be prepared and packages for delivery customers/patients.
- Check all cannabis orders against the pick receipt with the driver before placing them in the storage box for delivery.
- Complete Delivery Cash Reconciliation form before and after each delivery run and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure drivers complete the Delivery Driver Checklist at the beginning of the shift before going on any delivery run.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within retail stores.
- Communicates works closely and successfully collaborates with other Co-Managers to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and improvement in the performance of the store.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or operations management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of operational logistics experience supervising training, quality, and customer service in retail.
- Store Management experience.
- Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market is a huge plus.
- Experience with significant P&L responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of retail technology platforms and systems.
- Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent Time Management.
- Detail-Oriented.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, and reach with hands and arms.
- May be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- This position may require travel.
