JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns.
  • Educate customers/patients and guide them to the right products and dosages.
  • Handle customer/patient questions or complaints.
  • Pass along information reported by customers/patients to the Area Manager & Regional Manager.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service to our patients.
  • Properly utilize peripheral marketing materials to educate customers and close sales.
  • Attend meetings and training.
  • Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons, and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests.
  • Abide by by-product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
  • Operate a cash register, computer-based POS system, and cash drawer.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction, and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills over the phone and in person.
  • Occasionally requires local travel, as needed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and licensing.
  • A passion for and interest in cannabis.
  • Knowledge of relevant cannabis sales laws (such as sales limits for recreational vs medical patients).
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass all required background checks and state licensing process.
