JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly financial statements and related footnotes.
- Prepare year-to-date cash flows.
- Prepare and review of work papers supporting the monthly close process and month-end balances.
- Prepare annual budget, and work papers supporting the annual tax return.
- Implement a process to record transactions by department and compare costs incurred to budget and performance analysis of profit centers.
- Partner with Operations during reviews and inquiries of inventory transactions, product costing, cost-saving projects, and departmental expenses to ensure costs are classified correctly and at appropriate values.
- Monitor valuation of inventories and reserves (excess, obsolete, non-sellable, aged, or third-party finished goods) for proper balance sheet presentation.
- Ensure the integrity and timely updating of product cost data including rates used for absorbing costs into inventory, calculating production variances, capitalizing production variances into inventory, and pricing products.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to develop and report manufacturing site long-term planning, forecasts, and budgets including operational key performance indicators, working capital metrics, and productivity and sourcing actions.
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the organization.
- Experience with larger ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Familiarity with SEC reporting is desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Accounting Software, and Databases.
- Ability to manage large amounts of data.
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
