JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and publish dashboards to provide visibility into key KPIs.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Ensure data integrations (ERP/3rd party systems) are performing to specifications and operating properly.
  • Collaborate with other analysts, product managers, and the product catalog team to define and execute strategy and product roadmap.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to leadership for technical guidance around data acquisition, quality assurance, and best practices.
  • Be hands-on and take ownership of key areas of data analysis.
  • Bring skills and insights to scale data analysis and entry beyond mere keying in fields.
  • Support the data team in all aspects of projects including general project organization, day-to-day project management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Responsible for the aggregation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data as needed.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a regulated industry, preferably the medical or recreational cannabis industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (Data Science, Engineering/Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, etc.)
  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data‐driven reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of scientific principles, terminology, and techniques related to cannabis processing and testing.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear, concise manner to a diverse audience.
  • High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong problem-solving skills including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
  • Be able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
