DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, develop, and improve all Operations through effective workflow direction, ensuring that work standards are met, and continuous improvement is embraced.
  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Responsible for oversight of staffing the facility and ensuring employees are properly trained in all aspects of their position.
  • Facilitate operational flow across departments with product development, cultivation, post-production, processing, compliance, inventory management, product testing, packaging inventory, distribution, and sales.
  • Help formulate strategic and operational objectives.
  • Perform quality controls, monitor production KPIs, and prepare production reports as required by management.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Work with the finance team on budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Coordinate on-site facilities maintenance team and ensure they have all the supplies they need to succeed.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, construction permitting, and compliance including contract negotiation and execution.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory procedures are followed and stay up to date with industry-related compliance requirements.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 8+ years of leadership experience in production, manufacturing management, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, task, and project management skills.
  • Task-oriented with excellent time management skills, follow-through, and ability to prioritize a diverse body of work.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for cannabis products and the cannabis industry.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess strong computer skills.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for most of their work schedule.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
