JOB TITLE:

  • Director of SEC Reporting

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for financial reporting and technical accounting, assessing consolidation reporting, and preparing and distributing financial statements for external use.
  • Ensure that reports, filings, and documentation complies with the company’s financial reporting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Provide technical accounting support on new and complex transactions and work cross-functionally to advise on accounting implications to drive business decisions.
  • Lead the financial reporting audits including compliance, internal, and external.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis to advise management on trends
  • Monitor and advise management on changes in reporting requirements and recommend approaches for any changes in reporting.
  • Prepare materials for the audit committee and other internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant major required. 
  • 8+ years experience working as an Accountant in a publicly-traded company or supporting public clients.
  • General knowledge of financial reporting systems, analytics, and dashboards is a plus. 
  • CPA designation is a plus. 
  • Financial/accounting software, specifically SAP and Sage Intacct, experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience required. 
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills. 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. 
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and flexible to daily changes. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Authorized to work in the USA. 
  • Willing to undergo a background check.
