JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the building of purchase orders in Point-of-Sale & Inventory System Control Systems.
  • Comprehend and maintain compliance in matters related to inventory management as required by the Department of Taxation.
  • Liaise with external vendors in regard to wholesale purchases and in-store promotions.
  • Assist in the coordination of daily Dispensary operations including, without limitation; designation of shift assignments, scheduled breaks, and completion of daily maintenance directives.
  • Demonstrate a thorough comprehension of Cannabis effects, products, and methods of consumption to assist customers in purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure the customer check-in process maintains a steady flow free of operational obstacles.
  • Assist in the execution of inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
  • Identify and resolve customer service issues.
  • Assist in the education and training of fellow Dispensary team members on Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation and work areas including the sales floor, inventory vault, and dispensary restrooms.
  • Offer assistance in the expedition of patient and customer orders in support of Dispensary Bud Host(ess)/ Cashiers.
  • Provide support in Dispensary closing procedures including, without limitation; verification of final drawer counts, final cash drops, and fulfillment of daily cleaning duties.
  • Operate under the guidelines provided by company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately.
  • Must be proficient in Windows-based software and point-of-sale applications.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes, and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment, and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and electronic mail.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, lifting, climbing, and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
  • Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong-smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
