JOB TITLE:
- Dispensary Manager
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains the highest level of presentation, customer service, and compassion for all patients.
- Responsible for managing the dispensary department in a manner that supports the organization’s mission.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all strains and products in the store as well as industry-wide product and trend knowledge
- Provide departmental leadership to assure that all departmental operations are functioning with integrity and in the most cost-efficient, and compliant manner
- Overseeing and ensuring cash management procedures are being followed with all departmental SOPs
- Communicate the Dispensary’s sales information to management.
- Conduct and oversee the training of all new employees as well as the retraining of existing employees as needed.
- Ensure that inventory is adequate and manage inventory properly through timely entries in the Dispensary’s ICS.
- Liaise with law enforcement, local and state officials, vendors, and local communities.
- Implement company policies and ensure staff adheres to best practices.
- Inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service and experience.
- Responsible for ensuring all employees’ state registration identification cards are renewed each year.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a college degree.
- Ability to critically think and problem-solve without direction.
- Strong organizational skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Must have the ability to obtain a facility agent card.
- Proficiency in Windows-based and other software and Internet navigation.
- Thorough understanding of state and local medical Cannabis laws and regulations, and how they apply to the operations of the Company.
- Extensive experience in customer service.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Normal range of hearing.
- Requires close vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus.
- Occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.
