JOB TITLE:

  • Event Coordinator

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executing event marketing activity including coordinating timing with sales teams and retail buyers.
  • Tracking inventory of demo products and consumer items, setting up demo events, and conducting education sessions.
  • Installing merchandise displays working closely with the retail teams to optimize placement for sales growth.
  • Working closely with the Brand Manager, sales team, key retail partners, cross-functional partners, and agencies to bring brand and retail marketing programs and supporting materials to the marketplace effectively.
  • Helping the Brand Manager to assess ROI and KPIs and provide suggestions to continually optimize.
  • Manage the team responsible for the pre-event, event, and post-event productions.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives for all clients are accommodated and consistent across events.
  • Manage other vendors and agencies involved in each event.
  • Maintain a timeline and ensure deadlines are met by all parties involved.
  • Work with marketing and sales departments to create promotions.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Interest & some experience in promotional events, merchandising, or retail marketing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Time & Project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Resourceful and able to problem solve on the spot.
  • Organized and committed to maintaining a structured timeline and budget.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
  • Willing and able to travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience in planning events/trips for large groups of employees.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15-25 pounds at times.
