JOB TITLE:

  • Floor Manager

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with hiring, developing, and managing retail floor team members.
  • Manage daily tasks related to the retail floor, including all opening and closing procedures.
  • Handle minor software and hardware issues related to the Point of Sale System.
  • Liaison with the IT team and software provider to handle more complex issues.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all state and local compliance laws related to the retail floor.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with supervisors and associates.
  • Ensure all management, financial, and POS reports are readily accessible/available.
  • Ensure all areas, stations, and processes of the department comply with all local and state regulations.
  • Partner with Floor Supervisor(s) to ensure the dispensary’s cash flow/intake is properly managed while maintaining an organized and balanced safe.
  • Manage customer flow by observing and understanding sales trends.
  • Handle high-level discrepancies with customers maintaining excellent customer service through the lotus way experience.
  • Coordinate with the Inventory Department to ensure the correct fills of products are being brought to the downstairs inventory racks.
  • Ensure all protocols and procedures related to the sales floor are being followed at all times.
  • Take on additional responsibilities outside the primary job description as assigned by Store Management.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred: two (2) years of experience working in a regulated industry, preferably the medical or recreational cannabis industry.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of cash handling experience; two (2) years preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and moderate computer skills with the ability to adapt to new software.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Detail-oriented, and meticulous.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
