DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the organization’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
  • Implement dispensary policies and ensure staff follows best practices.
  • Oversee and manage quality product inventory and financial records.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff at all the dispensaries to achieve established standards, sales, and profit objectives as well as customer satisfaction.
  • Drive a culture of positive employee engagement with a strong focus on inclusion & diversity.
  • Actively manage inventory, recalls, returns, and pricing to meet cost and sales targets.
  • Proactively monitor dispensary profit and loss and develop effective mitigation between actual performance and company budget and projections. 
  • Work with the management team to develop insight into business decisions.
  • Analyze and measure sales trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives in the team and each individual member of the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through monthly one-on-one meetings with team members, and audits.
  • Engage with managers in all departments to ensure smooth running of the dispensary including, delivery, cultivation, and security.
  • Work with wholesalers to negotiate and procure an adequate supply of quality products.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
  • Review the performance of other dispensary employees on a regular basis.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1-year previous experience working within a marijuana or pharmaceutical dispensing facility in a leadership or management role preferred.
  • Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related experience.
  • Ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as a friendly and outgoing
  • Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations.
  • Exceptional team building, communication, and people skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
