JOB TITLE:

  • Graphic Designer

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates relevant, engaging, and industry-leading graphics and designs for in-store promotions, both print and digital
  • Lead the design and creation of graphic assets and maintain brand consistency across multiple platforms and social media channels.
  • Maintain working knowledge of trends in branding, visual communication, and emerging technologies and utilize them in the creation of visual assets.
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal design, e-commerce, public relations, and sales teams to ensure that brand vision remains cohesive.
  • Work with copywriters and creative team to produce final design.
  • Test graphics across various media.
  • Participate in the brainstorming of and creation of concepts for overall branding efforts.
  • Maintain extremely high brand design standards.
  • Help conceptualize and develop digital communications; user-friendly websites and rich media including but not limited to banners, microsites, landing pages, and email campaigns.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or equivalent blend of education, experience, and talent.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and more).
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Proven graphic designing experience.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • Must be fluent in the following design skills: typography, color theory, composition, illustration, and UX/UI principles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of how to prepare files for optimal use both online and in print.
  • High-level understanding of branding and brand design.
  • Cannabis experience with compliance knowledge.
  • Capacity to take direction and embrace constructive criticism.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Standing or walking for at least 50% of the shift.
  • Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement (while operating computer equipment).
  • Occasional bending, stooping.
  • Eye-hand coordination (keyboard typing).
  • Hearing and talking.
  • Extended periods of reading fine print.
