JOB TITLE:

  • Head of Product Design

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set the design vision, strategy, workflow, and team structure to achieve world-class design status.
  • Create a culture of inspiration, insight, and authority on design and user experience by managing and also by example.
  • Own large design initiatives end-to-end, from ideation & research to pixel-perfect execution for new and existing products and features.
  • Collaborate closely with company leaders, creative leads, marketing, product managers, engineering, clients, and other relevant company departments.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience working as a design leader for B2B products.
  • Proven experience with attracting talent and building/managing large design teams (including managers).
  • Proficiency in working with a variety of tools (Zeplin, Figma, Storybook, Bugherd, Adobe creative suite, etc.).
  • Strong ability to cultivate a product design vision, along with a clean visual design sense as it applies to building and maintaining a strong brand.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, and position objects, tools, or controls. 
  • The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 10 lb.
