JOB TITLE:

  • Investor Relations

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains knowledge of current and emerging developments/trends in the cannabis industry and other related areas, assessing the potential impacts and collaborating with executive/senior management to incorporate findings in current and future strategies.
  • Leads and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  • Develops and enhances relationships within the investment community, including the public, shareholders, financial professionals, etc.
  • Oversee analysis and presentation of feedback on investors’ perceptions, brokerage security analysts’ positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis.
  • Help coordinate investor conferences, investor roadshows, earnings conference calls, financial press releases, and investor meetings.
  • Conduct targeting and identify new prospective investors.
  • Develop and maintain a robust understanding of business drivers and metrics.
  • Review annual reports, SEC filings, and proxy statements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and outside counsel on periodic SEC filings.
  • Establishes processes to measure the effectiveness of the Company’s Investor Relations efforts and ensures the department is meeting all objectives pertaining to quality, compliance, regulations, productivity, customer service, budget, and project management.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business/Economics, Master’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience in Investor Relations at a public company.
  • Strong financial modeling / analytical skills and PowerPoint / Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal stakeholders, with the proven ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to independently drive projects; motivated to learn all aspects of our business.
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions/presentations.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
