DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for opening and closing the store – opening and closing duties set out by the store manager.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and educate them on responsible cannabis use.
- Provide information based on ongoing learning and accurate product knowledge.
- Ensure the store is operating and performing to company standards on a day-to-day basis.
- Cultivate, grow, and retain customer base through an exemplary customer experience.
- Working with team members to fulfill orders and cash out customers.
- Reviewing detailed business analytic reports that inform store tasks and actions to ensure a world-class retail experience.
- Initiating strategies to identify business opportunities and implement effective plans to leverage opportunities.
- Communicating performance expectations to team members on an ongoing basis using both formal and informal methods.
- Determine the workload of team members to ensure a well-operated store that adheres to local regulations in all aspects of the business.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all strains and product in-store inventory as well as the industry as a whole – understand and keep up with industry trends.
- Support store manager by providing insight into daily business trends and employee performance.
- Actively promote and interact with a positive, fun, and inclusive work environment.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of retail or hospitality management experience.
- Ability to execute corporate policies and procedures.
- Must have experience and understanding of business metrics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
