JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for opening and closing the store – opening and closing duties set out by the store manager.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and educate them on responsible cannabis use.
  • Provide information based on ongoing learning and accurate product knowledge.
  • Ensure the store is operating and performing to company standards on a day-to-day basis.
  • Cultivate, grow, and retain customer base through an exemplary customer experience.
  • Working with team members to fulfill orders and cash out customers.
  • Reviewing detailed business analytic reports that inform store tasks and actions to ensure a world-class retail experience.
  • Initiating strategies to identify business opportunities and implement effective plans to leverage opportunities.
  • Communicating performance expectations to team members on an ongoing basis using both formal and informal methods.
  • Determine the workload of team members to ensure a well-operated store that adheres to local regulations in all aspects of the business.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all strains and product in-store inventory as well as the industry as a whole – understand and keep up with industry trends.
  • Support store manager by providing insight into daily business trends and employee performance.
  • Actively promote and interact with a positive, fun, and inclusive work environment.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of retail or hospitality management experience.
  • Ability to execute corporate policies and procedures.
  • Must have experience and understanding of business metrics.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
