JOB TITLE:

  • Lead Budtender

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise activities of the provisioning center team in conjunction with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
  • Deal with issues that arise from employees or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.).
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of both the patients and employees.
  • Education staff on cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption mechanisms.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains industry-wide and in the store.
  • Continuous cannabis education including, but not limited to, knowledge of strains, terpenes, consumption methods, cannabis culture, medical implications, efficacy, effects/high, aroma/tastes/aesthetic, state and municipal regulations for medical and recreational cannabis.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail management environment.
  • 2+ years of cannabis-related retail experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a digital scale.
  • Close Attention to Detail.
  • Time Management Skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks.
