JOB TITLE:

  • Lead Patient Consultant

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers and patients with a smile and positive attitude.
  • Assist in regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate levels and immediately report any discrepancies to retail leadership.
  • Obtain cannabis products from the vault and provide them to Dispensary Agents for sale.
  • Be an advocate of cannabis customer care.
  • Open and close the store as directed by the Assistant Manager or General Manager.
  • Assist customers and patients navigate through their cannabis education journey.
  • Verify all product is tagged in accordance with state & local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary paperwork from the delivery manifests.
  • Support the Inventory Manager with reconciliation of physical inventory within the State tracking system and POS systems to ensure all information is accurately porting to the state and no malfunctions of the POS and scales are occurring.
  • Review online orders to ensure accuracy before pick-up.
  • Support Dispensary Agents with any product or POS System questions.
  • Build lasting relationships with regular patients/customers to promote regular store visits.
  • Accurately handle cash transactions, including bank drops and daily payouts as needed.
  • Provide patients and customers alike with information on the types, methods, and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice).
  • Continue ongoing cannabis education and training.
  • Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws.
  • Process transactions at the POS and ensure the state-monitored inventory system (METRC) accurately updates the amount of product available.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
  • Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods.
  • Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
  • Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software, i.e., Word, Excel, email, etc.
  • Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.
