Legal Administrative Assistant

JOB TITLE:

  • Legal Administrative Assistant

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day Legal and Compliance filing, functions, and communications.
  • Assure that all logistics associated with travel, meetings, or other events are in place in advance of the event.
  • Assisting with maintenance, auditing, and troubleshooting of corporate and operational spreadsheets, documents, slides, and some media.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all information received or discovered within the scope of the position.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems and allow/restrict access as necessary.
  • Organizing and coordinating departmental meetings and managing calendars.
  • Assists with employee account setup and maintenance – Slack, corporate email, phones, online accounts, and other simple IT setups, etc.
  • Tracking deadlines for all Legal and Compliance departmental needs.
  • Collaboration in company projects, systems implementation, and reporting.
  • Compiles, updates, organizes and analyzes complex information for inclusion in reports, and budgets, and prepares charts, graphs, or other presentations of varying complexity.
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Progressive experience performing a variety of office, administrative, and customer service tasks.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic.
  • Capable of regularly using good judgment and problem-solving skills to accomplish goals and work requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to be entrusted with confidential information. 
  • Proficient computer skills working with various office equipment, computers, and various programs.
  • Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. 
  • State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Will be required to submit a background check.
  • Must obtain all state-required: permits, licenses, and certifications.
