JOB TITLE:

  • Maintenance Manager

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain all facilities equipment, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, and infrastructure throughout the site to ensure efficient operation and productivity targets.
  • Understand all aspects of production and adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Effectively manage the repair, maintenance, and safety budget while minimizing downtime and assuring facilities are maintained to Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Work collaboratively with compliance, security, and transportation regarding compliance, loss prevention, security, and logistics on all mutual issues and in prioritization of needs.
  • Lead the Company in all safety awareness, training, and practices.
  • Responsible for accurate and legally compliant OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis—including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, etc.
  • Provide coverage for the boiler, HVAC, and facility mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, safety, and security, and ensure all required documentation is maintained accordingly.
  • Responsible for emergency management and disaster plans developed with a security consultant.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance and/or equivalent related functions.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and/or CO2 maintenance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
  • Certification in electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required; Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, high proficiency in Excel, and Computer applications.
  • Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
