JOB TITLE:
- Marketing Director (Edibles)
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, manage, grow, and develop a group of high-potential employees.
- Work with the VP of Marketing to set the growth strategy for their brands both short and long-term.
- Develop, execute, and optimize national and state-specific marketing campaigns that drive growth, and deliver business results.
- Set, measure, and track goals for the marketing and product teams, including taking us to the next level in marketing measurement.
- Work with the director of innovation to set the broader innovation pipeline for the brands she/he is responsible for.
- Work with your team and the company’s cross-functional teams to manage the day-to-day business.
- Setting and executing the product strategy, problem-solving supply chain issues, and marking recommendations on the form and function of our packaging.
- Help the company continue to grow and excel in product and dispensary marketing.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A. or B.S., MBA preferred but not required.
- Must have 7+ years of high-level marketing experience.
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success growing early / mid-stage brands.
- Past experience in some general management capacity is a must (product management, innovation, etc).
- Experience building marketing plans for lifestyle brands is ideal, but not required.
- Strong people and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with pulling market data and extrapolating insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively lead and interface with cross-functional teams to rapidly identify problems/opportunities and take appropriate action.
