JOB TITLE:

  • Member Engagement Director

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for member development, retention, and experience.
  • Leads the association’s overall efforts to recruit, retain, and engage membership.
  • Work with Executive Director to set annual membership goals.
  • Provide monthly insight into membership revenue and tracking to annual goals.
  • Use the Association Member Management platform, manage member experience, data, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support the creation of visual presentations, and collateral marketing materials.
  • Attend board and committee meetings, provide insight on policies and strategies
  • Update and maintain all member records, including the processing of payments, follow up with new members, and manage updates to the member database.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong passion for the medical cannabis industry and cannabis as medicine.
  • At least 1 year of cannabis industry experience.
  • At least 3 years experience in policy, regulation/compliance, membership, or constituent management preferred.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, managing stakeholders, anticipating needs, determining priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with database management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
  • Experience with creative tools a plus (Adobe CC, Canva, etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
