JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners.
  • Responsible for a broad set of administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Assist in daily office needs and manage the company’s general administrative activities.
  • Responsible for coordinating shipments, telephone calls, electronic communications, and monitoring the premises. 
  • Manage and maintain an organized filing system both physically and electronically. 
  • Create, record, and maintain all information in appropriate databases.
  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of all office common areas.
  • Perform general Office Assistant tasks and errands when needed.
  • Coordinate office events and activities when needed.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of all office equipment and supplies.
  • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing physical mail.
  • Assist in payroll administration, supply chain management, and event coordination.
  • Ensure that all new employee materials are readily available for new hires on their first day of employment.
  • Send out company-wide emails regarding events, certifications, and other activities as directed.
  • Miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven working experience as an Office Assistant.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with GSuite.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
  • Discretion when dealing with sensitive or private information such as payroll, human resources, and financial records.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and bending.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
