DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage an assigned territory making consistent positive contact with existing clients as well as potential new business opportunities.
  • Identify and follow up on leads via phone, email, and in person, documenting all attempts and outcomes of leads.
  • Seek out and target new customers: build an action plan to approach and secure new business.
  • Track and log notes for all scheduled and completed meetings with potential and existing clients.
  • Stay current with industry trends to identify new opportunities for company growth.
  • Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with all clients and company staff.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure successful planning, development, and execution of sales strategy plan to achieve personal and company sales goals.
  • Participate in educational programs, sales, and marketing events.
  • Remain up-to-date on cannabis knowledge and legislation.
  • Maintain knowledge of all company products and services and collect product feedback.
  • Follow all state, local, and company rules to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years experience in outside sales.
  • Experience in developing and executing B2B territory sales strategies.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis and cannabis-related materials.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to learn new technology tools and applications as needed (i.e. CRM, database management, social media, communication applications).
  • Prior experience with CRM & Leaflink.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment.
  • Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support locations within the company.
