JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for all aspects of product lifecycle management in assigned product categories, including design and development requirements, forecasting, inventory management, packaging, third-party testing, and consumer feedback.
  • Reporting to the Product Director and collaborating with the supply chain, marketing, and retail operations team to create a best-in-class product assortment.

  • Conduct quantifiable research to identify customer needs and market gaps.
  • Manage and grow existing product lines by creating plans to increase sales of existing categories, reduce & eliminate product quality issues, and identify cost reduction/value improvement opportunities.
  • Consistently analyze product margin and profitability.
  • Actively communicate the status of projects to all project stakeholders, which include the cross-functional team.
  • Perform market analysis on products, pricing, and competition.
  • Assist with the development of product promotions to drive sales.
  • Provide implementation support to retail locations for all sales activities.
  • Conduct regular category reviews to maximize category assortment and set category strategies.
  • Visit key markets regularly to stay informed of competitive and market trends.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management.
  • Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
  • A self-starter who is proactive takes initiative and can step in and start adding value right away.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
