JOB TITLE:

  • Product Designer

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with engineering, product, marketing, and other departments to define and deliver innovative, iterative solutions.
  • Works collaboratively with the product manager on defining requirements, and producing wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and user interfaces.
  • Contributes to the growth of the design system and holistic product experience.
  • Participates in team reviews/critiques at various stages of the product life cycle.
  • Build an inclusive team of driven and inspiring Designers who you will actively mentor, challenge, and grow.
  • Engage with customers and learn quickly through research and iterative prototyping.
  • Responsible for designing user interfaces for mobile web and desktop products.
  • Create usable and compelling experiences through a user-centered design process.
  • Draw on the depth of experience, but initiate UX research and testing efforts as needed.
  • Create intuitive design solutions for native and web products.
  • Bring solutions to the table early in the product development cycle and anticipate the areas in that design can solve problems.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of product design experience.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Depth in design work for UI-enabled hardware devices, Industrial Design, or Packaging design.
  • Validated ability to solve problems and design strong solutions at a systems level.
  • Experience designing and conducting usability tests.
  • Experience using analytics to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Superb visual and interaction design skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to set up metrics for challenging and novel problems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate, and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. 
  • The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 10 lb.
