DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and running the day-to-day operations of production, packaging, procurement, supply chain, and inventory control in the facility.
  • Assures compliance with all city, county, and state regulations.
  • Liaising with superiors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
  • Manage relations/agreements with external vendors/partners.
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.

  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 21 years of age (or per state regulations).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in operations, engineering, or related field.
  • Must pass all required background checks.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Proven experience in Production management in the manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry legal rules and compliance guidelines.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety (OSHA) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality standards, safety requirements and trained on CGMP practices.
  • Proven ability in managing, motivating, and leading a diverse workforce to achieve objectives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly required to sit and stand.
  • Frequently required to walk; use hands and have finger dexterity; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
