DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and running the day-to-day operations of production, packaging, procurement, supply chain, and inventory control in the facility.
- Assures compliance with all city, county, and state regulations.
- Liaising with superiors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
- Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
- Manage relations/agreements with external vendors/partners.
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.
- responsible for managing production supervisors and staff.
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company.
- Keep a record of required information following good documentation practices.
- Routinely observe machine/equipment operation and work with vendors to resolve malfunctions and/or safety concerns.

- Assist with state and local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 21 years of age (or per state regulations).
- Bachelor’s Degree in operations, engineering, or related field.
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Proven experience in Production management in the manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry legal rules and compliance guidelines.
- Knowledge of workplace safety (OSHA) is a plus.
- Familiarity with MS Office and various business software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality standards, safety requirements and trained on CGMP practices.
- Proven ability in managing, motivating, and leading a diverse workforce to achieve objectives.

- Regularly required to sit and stand.
- Frequently required to walk; use hands and have finger dexterity; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
