DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish a network of mortgage lenders, contractors, and legal attorneys to whom you can refer clients in the cannabis industry.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork such as closing statements, deeds, contracts, purchase agreements, and leases.
  • Evaluate clients’ financial abilities and research properties within their buying power.
  • Inspect the condition of premises and organize for necessary maintenance or inform property owners of maintenance needs.
  • Provides strategic guidance in securing a 420 property, developing projects, and sustaining profits.
  • Helps in navigating around 420 properties and the red tape of zoning, permits, and politicians.
  • Provide excellent real estate and sustainability services in the regulated cannabis industry. 
  • Positioning the company for real estate acquisitions and revenue growth.
  • Understand the regulatory complexity or risk related to 420 real estate transactions in the regulated cannabis industry. 

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working as a Real Estate Agent or in a similar role in the cannabis industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills to close deals.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize activities.
  • Great organization skills to be able to create various schedules, timelines, and budgets.
  • Outstanding computer skills for preparing presentations and drafting property sale documentation.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Must be a licensed real estate agent.
  • Must be in good standing with the local Realtor board.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to network to build your business.
  • Strong work ethic, and a pleasant and trustworthy demeanor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting, standing, and walking for several hours at a time.
  • Ability to travel by car frequently.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
  • Close visual acuity needed to read and write documents on a computer screen.
  • Manual dexterity needed to type on a computer.
  • Speaking and hearing required when communicating with clients.
  • May be required to work outdoors and/or during inclement weather.
