JOB TITLE:

  • Regional Account Manager

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build a marketing and sales territory plan to connect retailers and consumers with the organization’s brand message and drive sales that penetrate the market.
  • Work with sales leaders to devise and implement innovative strategies to attract and engage new accounts within the region.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Operations, and other key areas to develop lead sources, expand the customer base, and ensure that product availability meets customer demand.
  • Responsible for the successful planning, development, and execution of sales strategy.
  • Attend and participate in internal Sales & Marketing Calls.
  • Proactively research the market to open doors and build relationships.
  • Drive orders and execute merchandising strategies by establishing, replicating, and maintaining visual displays in dispensaries.
  • Maintain a pulse on trends across the ever-changing cannabis landscape, evaluate competitor activities, economic indicators, and overall market trends.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly territory sales performance and market analysis.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of sales experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cannabis/marijuana industry.
  • Successful track record selling in a competitive and growing market.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, time management, and people skills.
  • Collaborative and able to build effective relationships to enable the Company to reach and exceed its goals.
  • Ability to research and quickly understand market trends, regulation laws, and compliance rules as it relates to the industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc., and/or Google applications.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. 
  • The travel required for this position is 10-15%.
