JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists Sales Reps with account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales revenue to meet assigned monthly targets.
  • Acts as a resource to the sales team in contract opportunities, proposals, marketing plans, assessing competition, and merchandising strategies.
  • Review monthly sales and production forecasts to provide state-specific feedback.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop new sales material and refine messaging.
  • Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Attends trade shows as needed.
  • Analyze data to provide quarterly strategy plans for each territory.
  • Train and lead the sales team to increase sell-through velocity.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as needed.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
  • 2-5 years experience as a Sales Manager, knowledge of CBD & CBN preferred.
  • Cannabis industry knowledge and experience are preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing a strategic sales strategy, building new business, and meeting/exceeding quotas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong personal initiative have a strong desire to grow professionally.
  • Proficient technical skills including use of CRM software-Base CRM & SalesForce.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
