DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Sales Reps with account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Develop strategies to increase sales revenue to meet assigned monthly targets.
- Acts as a resource to the sales team in contract opportunities, proposals, marketing plans, assessing competition, and merchandising strategies.
- Review monthly sales and production forecasts to provide state-specific feedback.
- Work with the marketing team to develop new sales material and refine messaging.
- Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Attends trade shows as needed.
- Analyze data to provide quarterly strategy plans for each territory.
- Train and lead the sales team to increase sell-through velocity.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as needed.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- 2-5 years experience as a Sales Manager, knowledge of CBD & CBN preferred.
- Cannabis industry knowledge and experience are preferred.
- Proven track record of developing a strategic sales strategy, building new business, and meeting/exceeding quotas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong personal initiative have a strong desire to grow professionally.
- Proficient technical skills including use of CRM software-Base CRM & SalesForce.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
