JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead production and operational management teams ensuring collaboration and cross-departmental efficiencies.
  • Assist with planning and monitoring the day-to-day operations to ensure no interruptions in production.
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to implement best practices, drive continuous improvement, and ensure SOPs are followed in daily production processes.
  • Create strategies to improve the efficiencies between Supply Chain, Production, Sales Operations, IT, Accounting, and HR.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and motivation to build and maintain a high-performing team.
  • Ensure the operations function in line with the company’s mission and core values.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Lead weekly meetings with the production management team to discuss supply/demand, new projects, and upcoming information.
  • Oversee facility supply and packaging needs and inventory processes.
  • Address company policy violations and work in conjunction with HR and direct managers to administer disciplinary action.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in Operations Management.
  • Experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Cannabis industry experience.
  • Effective solutions-based attitude and management style.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Highly organized and meticulous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in all Office Suites (Google, Microsoft Office).
  • Proven experience in creating systems and processes.
