JOB TITLE:

  • Senior Social Media Manager

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing brand awareness through various social media channels.
  • Manage the company’s online community, identify target audience(s), and build an effective content strategy to engage the community.
  • Manage corporate social media channels and work closely with VP Communications, marketing, brand teams, customer service teams, and all members of social media teams to ensure alignment and consistency of messages across channels.
  • Create weekly content calendar; manage external social media agency and monitor all channels for crisis management.
  • Attend weekly meetings on content and social media strategy.
  • Manage content through development, review and approval cycles, and publishing.
  • Track program activities in clients’ customer marketing technology platforms and provide ongoing support for program reporting.
  • Assist with special projects and other activities as needed.
  • Complete projects on time, and on budget, and the work product should be high-quality.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree preferred.
  • 5 years of social media experience with a brand or publicly traded company.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in the fundamentals of classical marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations.
