DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and propose social media strategies; lead execution of annual and seasonal social media programs and campaigns.
  • Apply social media data and analysis to measure the impact of social media efforts with the goal of increasing engagement and followers across all channels.
  • Help manage digital influencer/brand ambassador programs and content contributors to assure a steady cadence of high-quality, brand-right content for our social channels.
  • Produce compelling visual content through the use of photos and video.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily that is customized to be engaging and useful for audiences on individual social media platforms.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a way that positively represents the company while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Must be aware and in tune with the current trends regarding cultural sensitivity.
  • Engage with our public on a daily basis through posts, stories, and responses on social media.
  • Provide reporting on performance with an emphasis on ROI.
  • Analyze key metrics and be able to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Analyzes existing website traffic and internet activity related to the company and products.
  • Reports campaign results to management, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Develops innovative strategies to attract customers to the company’s brand through various web-based marketing programs and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
  • Collaborates with and coordinates communication among information technology, sales, research, and other departments to complete projects.
  • Makes recommendations to department leadership for digital storytelling opportunities.
  • Manages video projects to ensure brand standards and tone are met.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
  • Minimum 21 years of age (or per state regulations).
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated passion for social media.
  • Strong interest in health and wellness, preferably with cannabis industry experience and/or knowledge.
  • Experience developing social content from a strategic perspective. 
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing.
  • Proficient in content theory and application
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain a heavy workload and meet deadlines.
  • Thorough understanding of Internet marketing and general marketing strategies.
