JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage quality product inventory and conduct inventory audits in accordance with regulations.
  • Adhere to and promote a culture of compliance as it pertains to state and company regulations.
  • Regularly communicate with and update corporate leadership on dispensary matters.
  • Regularly communicate with the marketing department to manage community engagement, store promotions and events, and customer communication across a wide range of platforms.
  • Oversee, communicate, and meet staffing needs for the responsible dispensary.
  • Manage the direct the activities of the dispensary team including delegating tasks and workflow.
  • Oversee scheduling and staffing.
  • Supervise financial records and cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure the dispensary remains compliant with all regulations and lead the team and facility through inspections without violation.
  • Work with cultivators to procure an adequate supply of high-quality medical cannabis.
  • Maintain accurate records for all Company and Commission requirements.
  • Ensure training of all dispensary staff in procedures and POS utilization.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A 2-year or 4-year college degree, preferably in business.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a retail management position.
  • Previous experience working in a dispensary or cannabis industry.
  • Demonstrated people management skills and development capability.
  • Exceptional skills in working with customers, supervising retail associates, invoice and cash handling.
  • Professionalism, punctuality, trustworthiness, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with business technology, hardware, and software (i.e., HR systems for timesheet management, clocks, POS systems, Microsoft Office suite, etc.)
  • 21+ years of age.
