JOB TITLE:

  • Supply Chain Manager

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing the inventory flow throughout the production and retail sites while ensuring both accuracy of inventory levels and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Creation of a monthly rolling supply chain plan. Communicate this to the business as often as needed, together with the supply chain implications of the plan.
  • Set stock levels for consumable supplies, raw materials, packaging, and labeling materials, and finished products as applicable in agreement with supply chain and production colleagues.
  • Coordinate and influence sales and operational planning activities, including the chairing of monthly meetings to reduce and maintain a live portfolio of products, obtain clarity of new product launch dates, volumes, and rules, get slow-moving stock sold, and negotiate with internal departments to increase stock velocity.
  • Limit risk to the company by managing inventory levels, ensuring compliance throughout the supply chain, and creating controls.
  • Manage efficient purchasing of inventory, supplies, and capital equipment for the company. 
  • Receive purchase requisitions, and verify for accuracy and authorization(s). 
  • Source new vendors when necessary.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders; determine and negotiate prices, delivery, and credit terms; buy according to established company policies and procedures; maintain accurate purchasing records.
  • Process and audit inventory transactions in Metrc, Leaflogix, and ERP systems and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Establish the process of determining weekly restocking from the grow facility to the retail stores by analyzing sell-through rates with available finished goods.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with inventory management documentation and processing requirements.
  • Cannabis industry experience is preferred.
  • Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience with leading and managing a supply chain organization
  • ERP experience is required.
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics, and read, analyze, and interpret reports relating to inventory performance metrics
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, including effectively connecting with co-workers by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical-thinking skills to establish action plans and routinely assess their effectiveness.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple moving pieces, people, and orders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US; proper employment documentation; reliable transportation; valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for most of their work schedule
