JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate sales revenue by opening, maintaining, and growing an active sales territory.
  • Identify potential issues within the sales territory and work with different departments to come up with a resolution.
  • Establish clear, targeted sales goals and monitor progress-to-goal regularly.
  • Visit retail accounts in assigned territories to evaluate client needs and promote product sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, account decision-makers, and other key industry personnel.
  • Leverage marketing collateral and data to increase brand awareness.
  • Coordinate with Brand Ambassadors to develop accounts and sponsor events.
  • Represent the company and its products with high character, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Monitor sales progress to ensure KPIs are achieved.
  • Submit sales orders accurately and on time.
  • Update and maintain client data, sales orders, and account changes.
  • Prospect daily, generating new future business by way of internal and external lead generation and identify decision makers among targeted leads to begin the sales process and build relationships.
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to other Territory Managers, Account Managers, or other Hummert Managers with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and so on.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a heavy workload and meet deadlines
  • Team player with an ambitious mindset and a talent for working with others and communicating effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, time management, and people skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
  • Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
  • Extensive knowledge and passion for cannabis products are preferred.
  • Firm understanding of cannabis products from an educational and lifestyle perspective.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history and a reliable means of transportation to visit clients.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience using a CRM database.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
