JOB TITLE:

  • Video Editor

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble and edit recorded footage and convert them into finished products that match Brand Marketing’s vision in a creative way.
  • Partner with Creative Director and Product Marketing Lead.
  • Use a variety of technical skills and software to complete production, including Final Cut Pro Adobe Premiere, and After Effects.
  • Add motion/static graphics, digitally improve picture quality, and ensure videos meet brand guidelines.
  • Create concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for projects.
  • Discover and implement new techniques and methods to maximize our company’s efficiency.
  • Provide editorial guidance in pre-shoot meetings, on-site or set, and in post-production.
  • Manage multiple projects while also meeting project deadlines.
  • Monitor all technical aspects of recording and editing.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
  • In lieu of degree, relevant 5-10 yrs. work experience is preferred.
  • Creative experience in videography.
  • A passion for cannabis, lifestyle, fashion, and art.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively.
  • Creative decision-making skills.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
  • Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics are preferred.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to work on tight schedules.
  • Reel of completed work.
