JOB TITLE:

  • Wellness Associate

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations through the process of product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge and answer concerns and/or questions promptly and efficiently, referring to a dispensary healthcare practitioner or management team when appropriate.
  • Complete the required state-mandated training program as well as company-provided weekly, monthly, and quarterly educational training.
  • Answer questions and provides general information and guidance for patients regarding policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations, communicating with sensitivity
  • Work closely with the General Manager to resolve patient complaints, concerns, and issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and caregivers by anticipating needs.
  • Follow established policies and procedures for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines.
  • Ask relevant questions to determine the best medicine for the patient’s concerns.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proper licenses/certifications, if required.
  • Cannabis knowledge is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of customer service, retail, or related experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communications skills as well as the ability to multitask.
  • Minimum 21 years of age (or per state regulations).
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and or walking for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to handle cash or card transactions with patients using an electronic processing system.
