- Wholesale Manager
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute all sales efforts for our wholesale accounts.
- Develop new accounts, drive sales with existing accounts, and establish key customer relationships.
- Schedule, coordinate, and execute events to promote our brand and educate our partners and patients on our products.
- Provide regular updates on the status of our wholesale accounts.
- Source and monitor new business opportunities and assist with sales contracts.
- Maintain and update a database of contacts for each of our wholesale partners.
- Solicit wholesale orders and assist in the customer-facing fulfillment process.
- Identify business opportunities with the accounts and work with internal partners to create customized plans to drive results.
- Keeping current on industry trends that may impact the business and revenue objectives of the company.
- Attending industry trade shows and networking events as necessary.
- Meeting regularly with other departmental managers to communicate any sales efforts that may impact the business.
- Close sales by building rapport with potential clients, explaining the differences between our products and other companies, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Target, qualify, and pursue prospects in accordance with the company’s strategy and techniques.
- Generate sales revenue through new account acquisition and management of existing accounts.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- A strong track record in B2B sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or at least three years of work experience as a Sales Representative or in a related position in the field, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent people and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to recognize and respond to changing trends and priorities.
- Proven ability to build and execute a sales strategy to generate and develop new business.
- Familiarity with and passion for the emerging legal cannabis industry.
- Strong negotiation skills, striking a balance between being flexible and driving for results.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including work Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must have a legal driver’s license and be willing to travel.
- Must pass a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The position must occasionally lift, push, pull and or move up to 25 pounds.
