Job Position Title:

• Lead Ethanol Extractor Edibles and Oils Manufacturer in Fairbanks Alaska

Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced Ethanol Extractor.
• Must be at least 21 years old and be able to pass a background check.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Extracting cannabis through various Ethanol extraction methods.
• Regulatory compliance is an important responsibility of this role.
• Should have some background on the METRC regulatory system.
• Applicant Must follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials and adhere to all OSHA regulations.
• Applicant needs to be able to process concentrates that include and not limited to distillate and Full Spectrum oil.
• The lab and equipment should be cleaned, sanitized regularly and the applicant should be able to provide regular maintenance on all lab equipment.
• Disposal of waste to keep laboratory and all other working areas in pristine conditions.
• Applicant should be able to keep an Inventory record for lab equipment, supplies, materials, cannabis fiber, and extracted oils.
• Applicant must be able to stay current with up-to-date industry standards and regulations, both state and federal.
• Develop and maintain extraction operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
• This position may also ask the applicant to participate in product development and be responsible for supporting future product launches and new methods of extraction.
• Starting pay will be determined on Experience (DOE).

GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moderate lifting (up to 25-75lbs).
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be prepared for changes in pace, this job is subject to many interruptions which calls for both physical and mental demands.
• Applicant must be Honest, Trustworthy, and must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to not only direct the lab but follow directions when needed.
• Preparing equipment and plant materials for extraction.
• Capable of making products such as: distillate, shatter, oil, wax, live resin, and more.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Biochemical, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Engineering Degrees.
• Degree is preferred but not mandatory

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant 1 Year (Preferred)

Pay: $20 per hour based on qualifications.

Pay: From $20.00 per Hour
