Job Description:
- Buddha Company is looking for an Administrative Assistant (AA). As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for running and coordinating the day-to-day administrative duties of our cannabis dispensary. Traditionally, an Administrative Assistant job description highlights the importance of organizational skills, communication skills, and the capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously. Soft skills such as being professional and exceptional with time management are also valuable for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff.
- Scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Taking notes and minutes in meetings.
- Ordering and taking stock of office supplies.
- Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver clear communication and execution of tasks is of utmost importance for the role.
- Responsible for our organization’s daily operations.
- Formal qualifications and degrees are not required for this role.
- However, there are courses and certificates that are valuable and will be highly considered:
- Certificate in Business Administration
- Diploma in Business Administration
- Bachelor in Business Administration
- Additionally, you must have knowledge of these programs:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Google Docs and Dropbox.
- Knowledge of project and task management tools such as Basecamp, Trello, and Smartsheet or any other task management tool.
- Compensation considerations will be made according to experience and any certificates deemed necessary for the success of this role.
