Job Description:

• Embarc is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and organized team player to be our full-time Inventory Assistant at our new cannabis dispensary. WHAT IS THE JOB?

The Inventory Assistant will maintain the organization’s inventory by assisting the Inventory Manager with ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. This role requires strict compliance with all company policies and local and state laws and regulations.

• Takes a proactive approach to inventory management to ensure consistency in product supply.
• Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to the pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
• Establishes and maintains backup sources for high-demand items.
• Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
• Provides inventory reports to executive leadership, store management, and others as required.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
• Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to the related database and/or software under the direction of executive leadership.
• Conducts recurring audits as well as frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

WHAT SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with Metrc Track and Trace system (Required).
• Experience with Cannabis POS system (Required).
• At least two years of experience in a related area (Required).
• Experience with computerized inventory systems (Required).

PAY:

• $17 – $20 per hour
